Oh the deception this blog post takes on! Does it look like the magical new human, Miss Siena Grace, is the snooziest, sleepiest cutie-pie ever? Yup, sure does. And was that the reality for her newborn session? Well…… the cutie-pie part is obviously true, but the rest? Sheer patience (heh, stubbornness) by all grownups involved.
Luckily, in the meantime, big brother Will gave me plenty of cuteness to photograph.
The photo below? The biggest trick of all. But I’m so very glad we waited. Capturing this momma with her little girl was 100% worth it - and you’d better believe I’d do it all the same if necessary!
It was such a joy being with you all on one of those drizzly dreary days last week. I am so happy Siena arrived safely and perfectly (if not a tad late ;-)
