Baby Ian pretended to sleep a little bit while big brother Emmet was home, but mostly, the excitement was too much and the snacks too tempting.

I feel like these two boys are going to have a lot of fun (and make a lot of mischief!) together.

Which makes sense, because behind the sweet and calm exuding from their parents, lies a lot of silly playfulness… it’s possible an adult sized Rafiki costume - the wise monkey from the Lion King - was added to a shopping cart for a certain dad to wear for their family Halloween costumes. Moms (and photographers!) have lots of downtime during newborn sessions while baby has snack breaks, and what better way to put that to good use than with some costume scheming?

It was such a lovely morning with your family! And now that I’m sharing your sneak peek I’ll be waiting for a photo of the Simba family in return ;-)
