A little while after responding to your initial email inquiry about hiring me, I gave you a follow up call. The moment I introduced myself you burst out laughing and then explained that you had literally been about to dial my number when the phone rang. And then we proceeded to have a very sweet and laughter-filled conversation, mostly discussing the ins and outs of names that are less familiar to English speakers. Of course this is something I’ve had just a touch of experience with ;-) By the time we’d gotten off the phone I couldn’t wait for your baby to arrive so I could meet you and the rest of your family.
Just to test our patience, Little Miss Shay (and her amazing hair) decided to be much more leisurely about arriving than her two older siblings.
And now she’s here, and oh-so-perfect.
